The Little Elf Stocking Cap

This was probably my most popular item for the holidays in 2008. Now that christmas is past the craze continues! Here are some pic of the elf hat you might enjoy.





My college roommate, Nikki, and her husband Cameron and son John Henry wore these hats as they dressed up as elves for their flight from New York City where they live to Utah for christmas. I'm sure everyone on their flight smiled when they saw them!

I love Cocoons

Last year I started making cocoons for photography props. The first one I made was the reworkings of a wrap that was way too long for a little newborn to be wrapped up in. Here's a photo of my little baby in it. I just want to love on this little munchkin! It was so fun to make that I kept going...





Then I tried to make different styles...









And different colors...









I have been knitting cocoons like mad and I've got designs for about 10 more varieties floating in my head. These are photos of just a few I have done for my customers. I also have a bedroom in my house full of new yarn for the cocoons as well. Keep up on Lillebarn to watch for new designs.

***PS - I now offer my cocoon pattern for the first cocoon in my etsy shop. Because there was so much demand and so many requests for it I had to offer it to knitters everywhere.

One of our customers, Melissa, sent us these fun pics of her son Jack wearing the peruvian snowflake hat. It's so fun to see people wearing my knits. I can still hardly believe it!

Wild Beanie - One of my Faves

This beanie is so fun and the colors are so vibrant. I love the way this hat adds so much pizzazz! It's really soft too which makes it even more wonderful.

Simple Baby Beanie

This cream beanie is one of our most popular items, especially for a photography prop. The color is basic, it looks good in color or black and white, and it's super fuzzy! Here's my little guy wearing one. It's also been popular paired with our cocoons.

Playing catch up...

It's been quite a while since I've posted and the blog has been neglected. I welcomed my second son on September 2, 2008 and took a little break. Then the holiday rush hit which has left no time for posting. Things are starting to get back to normal so I am going to try and post more regularly.

I wanted to share some photos of my children captured by Angela Weedon who I have mentioned in a previous post though. So... Please welcome baby Graham and big brother Keegan!
